CLOUD
TEN
by
Wayne Gardner
Clouds,
they come from one to nine, or so I have been told,
And when you’re sitting on cloud nine, it’s something
to behold.
So think of how I feel today, with the birth of my Grandson,
Cloud nine doesn’t fit the bill, and so I’ve added
one.
I’m sitting on cloud ten, floating high above,
The only way to get here is to float up on your love.
It must be everlasting; it must be more than strong,
And if it lasts forever, you’ll think it wasn’t
long.
It’s a love that’s so unshaken it will never go
away,
It’s a love that’s deep inside you, it’s
a love, some say cliché,
Láska, Liebe and Amour, are the same though different
names,
But the way that I say love today is simply Freddie James.
