The Bustard is an old coaching Inn that once served the Devizes - Salisbury & Bath - London routes and is situated in it's own Hamlet on the edge of Salisbury Plain and just 2 miles from Stonehenge. (Just a stones throw - sorry).

This historic inn has been extensively refurbished over the past three years since Roy Harris and Sharon Maton took over. The three letting bedrooms have been totally rebuilt to include en suite facilities while at the same time keeping to the style of the 500-year-old pub.

Menus vary from bar meals to full à la Carte and all food is prepared using fresh produce - from local suppliers wherever possible.

The Bustard has a large function room, which is ideal for weddings, parties, reunions and other meetings. It also has a skittle alley, which is great for group nights out when we can offer a special skittles night menu.

The Bustard award winning garden

Many groups meet at The Bustard including; walkers, 4x4 clubs, cyclists & motorcyclists.

The Bustard also hosts The Great Bustard group, who are responsible for the reintroduction of this once extinct bird back on to Salisbury Plain.

The Bustard serves many fine beers and ales but probably the most appropriate is the “Great Bustard” ale, brewed by local firm “Stonehenge Ales”.
