This
is the option that Wiltshire Council has chosen:
The
full bridge replacement will take 10 months. The bridge will
be totally closed for 7.5 months (225 days) starting in May
through to Nov (pedestrian access will be available at all
times) a detour for vehicles via the A303 is planned. (the
finished product will be visually sympathetic to the conservation
area) Cost £1.02M.
Now
your comments are invited. All will be passed on to Durrington
Town Council.
I
understand that the Bulford bridge needs to be repaired but
surely NOT to closed for all those months.Why ask our opinion
about something when people have already decided what is going
to happen with the bridge. Well all l can say is good luck because
l think we are going to need it. Just think all those bank holidays
where nobody can gets across the 303 as it is O what fun - Karan
